How Gongbao is born

Gongbao isn't just a group of friends; it's a coalition born of necessity, tempered by code, and cemented over plates of sushi. It all starts in the school desks, in upper fifth. As the world outside took its course, a silent war was fought within the classroom with explosive kittens. There was only one goal: to unseat "Gonne", a formidable opponent who dominated every game at Exploding Kittens unchallenged. The five founding members (Arber, Crespo, Menci, Daniele and Stefan) decided to join forces. What began as a simple tactical alliance to achieve victory quickly turned into an unbreakable bond. The name "Gongbao" is a tribute to our roots and traditions. It was born from an insight by Arber during the historic "Man vs Food" at the monthly sushi lunches. Among the most famous dishes stood out the Gongbao Chicken, which became the symbol of our union and an ironic reference to the origins of our first, historic rival. Today Gongbao has evolved. From card games we moved on to computer labs, where projects like Litm (Lose it to music) were born between lines of code. The group has expanded, welcoming new members and transforming Discord gatherings into a hotbed of ideas, vacations, and shared projects.
